Restauranteur, Ingrid Formo (seen here with the "True Boss" of the restaurant, Waldo) bought into Flavours Restaurant in 2007, drawing influences from her various international travels and working in various restaurants and hotels overseas.
This ensures that Flavours reflects a blend of many cultures and influences, integrating traditional recipes and utilising homemade and local produce. The focus is on freshness and quality by using the freshest seasonal ingredients available locally; real butter, olive oil, fresh herbs and grinding our own spices to produce the best dishes.

An outstanding experience on every level. The ambitious menu works and does not disappoint in any way. There is obviously a skilled and talented team in the kitchen. The quality of the food was consistently good throughout the meal. The level of personal service completed the whole polished experience as did the superb choices on the wine menu. We dropped in for lunch whilst on a four day stay in Ramsgate. As we were planning a big dinner at our cottage close by, we both opted for two starters each. My wife had the special of Tempura Prawns served on a bed of avo and ripe papaya - she was ecstatic! Then onto the Brinjal stack which she also rated highly. I started with an off the board special of snails in phyllo pastry with a mild creamy mozzarella sauce - to die for! I then had the Thai spicy prawn soup, another winner. We finished by sharing the an amazing off the board dessert special. We will definitely be back!!!
